Lionel Delpit, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 17, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Delpit, along with his 23-year-old pregnant companion Breon Stewart, was found dead inside a Chrysler PT Cruiser in the parking lot of an apartment building on the I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East. Both victims had been shot multiple times. The New Orleans Coroner's Office ruled that Stewart's unborn child, who was viable at the time, was also killed by the gunfire.
