Jeremiah Majlio, a 35-year-old black man, was found dead on August 30, 2016, in Metairie, Louisiana. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred in the 400 block of North Laurel Street, where responding officers from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office discovered his body.
