Benny Weary, a 53-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on September 28, 2016, in New Orleans, LA. He succumbed to injuries sustained after being shot by a homeowner in the 1900 block of Gallier Street. The incident occurred when the homeowner, Abraham Venson, 73, allegedly shot Weary, leading to his death days later at University Hospital in New Orleans.
