Linda Williams, a 50-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 23, 2016, in Hammond, Louisiana. She was found shot to death in front of her home on Artie Road. The incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on that fateful Sunday morning. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots, and upon arrival, responding deputies discovered Linda Williams with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
