In the early morning hours of June 4, 2026, Patricia Shepard, a 50-year-old woman, was tragically killed in a barrage of gunfire at a Chevron gas station on Highway 190 West in Hammond, Louisiana. She was an innocent bystander, caught in a violent act intended for someone else. Shepard was simply getting a ride home from her job at Sanderson Farms with a coworker when the deadly ambush occurred.
