A late Sunday afternoon in Baton Rouge turned tragic, leaving 30-year-old April Peck dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The chaos began on November 27, 2016, when Peck's live-in boyfriend, 48-year-old Terrell Walker, shot her and pushed her out of his vehicle on Essen Lane.

As a group of Good Samaritans rushed to Peck's aid, Walker made a U-turn and drove his car into the crowd, striking two people. One of the individuals hit was a 17-year-old EMT-in-training. Walker then exited his vehic ...
