In the late afternoon of a tragic Saturday in Marrero, Louisiana, the life of 10-month-old Xy'Ahir Kenjihad Davis was cut short by an act of violence. On December 3, 2016, a burst of gunfire erupted inside a home on the 2100 block of Caddy Drive, claiming the infant's life and leaving another individual wounded. Xy'Ahir, a young male child, was inside the residence with his father and three other men when an assailant reportedly opened the front door and began shooting.
