On the morning of January 9, 2017, the body of 28-year-old Ryan Joseph Dubuc of Metairie, Louisiana, was discovered by plant workers along an access road in Hahnville. An electrician on his way to work, Dubuc had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a male with no identification on his person when he was found, leading to a brief period before he was formally identified.
