Mark Joubert, a 28-year-old male from Opelousas, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on May 18, 2017. The incident occurred just before midnight at the Opelousas Housing Authority public housing complex on Lemoine Street. Upon arrival, police found Joubert on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to provide aid, Joubert succumbed to his injuries.
