In the early hours of New Year's Day in 2018, a life was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Trenity Grimes, a 29-year-old male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2600 block of Balis Drive at approximately 1:45 a.m. Despite the efforts of those at the scene, Grimes succumbed to his injuries and died.
