On a Saturday evening in Chalmette, Louisiana, the life of a man well-known in the French Quarter was brought to a violent end. Larry Hill, a 56-year-old male, was inside his residence on Shangri-La Drive on May 4, 2019, when the tranquility of the evening was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a report of shots fired at approximately 8:30 p.m., deputies from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office arrived to find bullet holes piercing a window of the home.
