On a tragic day in June of 2019, Manuel Caronia, a 45-year-old male, was senselessly killed in what authorities described as a random act of violence in Metairie, Louisiana. Caronia was with his friend, 57-year-old Nicky Robeau, on the afternoon of June 18th. The two men were simply running an errand to an O'Reilly Auto Parts store to pick up a part for Robeau's daughter's car when their lives were cut short. While sitting in their vehicle, they were fatally shot.
