Rene Rachel, a 32-year-old man, found his life tragically cut short on the evening of March 29, 2020, in a neighborhood near Airline Drive and David Drive in Metairie, Louisiana. The fatal encounter stemmed from a dispute over a meager $35 drug debt. On that night, Rene had driven to the area with the intention of purchasing synthetic marijuana, an intermediary facilitating the transaction.
