Rene Rachel, a 32-year-old man from Metairie, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on March 29, 2020. Rene, who struggled with substance abuse, was killed over a $35 drug debt. On the evening of his death, Rene traveled from his home to a neighborhood near Airline Drive and David Drive to purchase synthetic marijuana, also known as "MOJO."
