Death by Force

Justin JT Thomas, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 3, 2019. Thomas, a veteran boxer, was walking to his car a block away from Benny’s Bar and Lounge when he was shot in the early hours of Tuesday morning. He was discovered in a nearby field, still alive but critically injured, and was transported to the hospital for emergency care. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
