On January 1, 2007, 14-year-old Jason Fernandes from Brockton, Massachusetts, was shot and killed in Dorchester during the early hours of New Year's Day. The shooting occurred near Clarkson Street and Hamilton Street, where a party was taking place. When police arrived at the scene around 5:45 AM, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Jason Fernandes was rushed to Boston Medical Center, but he was later pronounced dead. The second victim's injuries were not life-threatening. ...Read More
