On February 18, 2007, 22-year-old Maurice Bogust was shot and killed in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11:05 PM, when Boston police responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered Bogust suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
