The morning of December 24, 2020, began with a report of a single-vehicle crash near Basinview Drive and the South I-10 Service Road in New Orleans. When officers from the New Orleans Police Department's Seventh District arrived at the scene around 10:23 a.m., they discovered a much more grim reality.
