Samarius Colquitt, a 23-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on January 4, 2021, in Monroe, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Jason Drive, where Monroe Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire around 7:30 PM.
