On a Monday evening in New Orleans, the life of 31-year-old Santiago Rubio was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The incident, which unfolded on January 18, 2021, in the Mid-City neighborhood, also claimed the life of 40-year-old Ilia Henderson and left a third individual wounded. This violent event has since been investigated as a double homicide.
