Joey Costa, a 57-year-old resident of Stockton, California, was tragically killed on August 28, 2022. His death marked the 37th homicide in Stockton for that year. Costa was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 600 block of East Oak Street, near the downtown district of Stockton. The police responded to the scene early Sunday morning and pronounced him dead upon arrival.
