Corporal Martinus Mitchum, a 38-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mitchum, who was a dedicated police professional and a reserve deputy constable at Tulane University, was working security at a high school basketball game when the incident occurred.
