In the spring of 2021, the life of 18-year-old Miguel Leon Jr., a young Black male from New Orleans, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Friday, April 9th, violence erupted at the intersection of Orleans and North Dorgenois streets. It was there that Leon sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
