On the cold night of February 3, 2008, Donald George Smith Jr., a 35-year-old male, was walking in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston after watching the Super Bowl at his girlfriend's apartment. His destination was the Red Line, a familiar route for him. However, on this particular night, his journey was tragically cut short in an act of senseless violence.
