John Leon Hayes, a 55-year-old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was found dead on October 8, 2021. Hayes was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the 3500 block of Seneca Street after 7 a.m. on that day. The Baton Rouge Police Department initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery of his body. The motive behind the shooting and potential suspects remain unknown at this time.
