In the early evening of a summer day in 2008, the life of 21-year-old Victor Torres was tragically cut short. On Thursday, June 19, 2008, in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston, Torres was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. at 742 Cummins Highway, where he was pronounced deceased. The Boston Police Department subsequently determined his death to be a homicide.
