On September 17, 2020, Wildeny Tejeda-Mejia, a 24-year-old resident of Boston, Massachusetts, lost his life to gun violence in the Charlestown neighborhood. The incident occurred on Decatur Street, where Tejeda-Mejia and another man, David Martinez, were shot. While Martinez survived the shooting, Tejeda-Mejia succumbed to his injuries.
