In the early morning hours of October 17, 2021, a dispute in Lafayette, Louisiana, turned fatal, claiming the life of 32-year-old Jacob Perry. The incident unfolded around 3:20 a.m. on the 2900 block of Northeast Evangeline Thruway. An argument between Perry and another man escalated, resulting in Perry suffering a fatal gunshot wound. When authorities arrived at the scene, he was found deceased.
