In the fall of 2021, a promising young life was tragically cut short in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Jayden Ramirez, an 18-year-old male, was at a residence on Julia Street on the evening of November 13th when a gunshot pierced the air. He was struck in the face, the bullet from a. 22-caliber pistol held by his then-16-year-old girlfriend, Emmalou Johnson.
