A 63-year-old man, James Ray Ross Jr., lost his life in a tragic incident of gun violence on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. The male victim died at his own home.

According to the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office, the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. Deputies were dispatched to the scene and upon their arrival, they found Ross suffering from a gunshot wound. The investigation that followed led to the swift identification and arrest of a suspect.
