In the Old Aurora neighborhood of New Orleans, a young man's life was tragically cut short on January 7, 2022. Sean Emerson Cox, a 20-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot, becoming one of four individuals to lose their lives to gun violence in the city on that day alone.
