In the late hours of a Monday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a verbal dispute escalated into deadly violence, claiming the life of Idris Abdul Malek. The 59-year-old African American man was shot and killed on January 17, 2022, on Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive.
