Rashon Franklin, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 12, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Kentucky Street, where police found Franklin in a vacant lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite efforts, Franklin succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Baton Rouge Police Department identified Franklin as the victim and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
