Trevon Bernard Sr., a 42-year-old man from New Orleans, LA, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2022. He was one of two victims in a mass shooting that occurred in the New Orleans East area. The incident took place on the 4800 block of Peltier Drive and Alcee Fortier Boulevard, where at least six individuals were shot. The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office determined that the cause of death for both Bernard and the other victim, 24-year-old Kenny Young, was a gunshot wound.
