On a summer evening in Gray, Louisiana, the life of Frederick M. Heims Jr. was tragically cut short. On June 6, 2022, the 44-year-old man was fatally shot in the 100 block of Marietta Place. Deputies from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire in the area shortly before 9 p.m. and discovered the grim scene.
