In the warm evening of June 9, 2022, violence erupted in the 7th Ward of New Orleans, forever altering the lives of two families. Linard David, a 55-year-old male, was in the vicinity of O'Reilly Street and St. Bernard Avenue when gunfire shattered the peace. When the chaos subsided, two individuals were found to have been shot.
