Sylvester Brunson, 49, a Black male, was found fatally wounded after a stabbing at the intersection of Dearborn and Dudley Streets in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood on July 27, 2009. Officers responded to a call for a person stabbed; he was identified later as Brunson and pronounced deceased, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the manner of death to be homicide.
