In the late hours of a Monday night in August 2022, the quiet of an Abita Springs neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a neighbor's frantic call, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's deputies arrived at a residence on Tee Street to find a grim scene.
