On September 9, 2022, 61-year-old Wilbert Bernard Smith, an African American male, was tragically lost to gun violence in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the Broadmoor neighborhood, where Mr. Smith sustained fatal injuries. The New Orleans Coroner's Office later identified him as the victim.
