The man responsible for his death was identified as 36-year-old Andres Jamal Felix. Following the initial shooting, Felix embarked on a destructive path that spanned multiple parishes. Later that day, he murdered two more individuals: 25-year-old Paige Lewis and his own estranged wife, 43-year-old Kawanna Kay Felix.
