Ross Elijah Chaisson, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 4, 2022, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ross was the first victim in a devastating triple murder-suicide orchestrated by Andres Jamal Felix, a 36-year-old male from Lafayette. The incident began when Felix shot and killed Ross at his residence, before continuing his violent spree that resulted in the deaths of two more individuals and ultimately, his own suicide.
