Brittany Ann Buras, a 23-year-old woman from Mandeville, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on October 18, 2022. The circumstances surrounding her death were both shocking and heartbreaking. On that fateful day, Brittany's mother, Tara Book, aged 43, called 911 to report that she had shot her daughter and intended to take her own life. The dispatcher heard a gunshot during the call, and when deputies arrived at the scene, they found both women deceased.
