In the autumn of 2022, the life of Rashad Elijah Dotson, a 23-year-old male from New Orleans, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of Sunday, October 23, Dotson was at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Chimney Wood Lane in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans East when he was struck by multiple gunshots.
