In the winter of 2022, the life of 15-year-old Ronie Taylor, a male student at Bogalusa High School, was tragically cut short. On the night of December 9th, Ronie attended a birthday party for a fellow teenager on Warren Street in Bogalusa, Louisiana. His parents believed he was spending the evening at a community resource center, only to receive the devastating news that their son had been shot.
