Joseph Callan, a 54-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on June 27, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois. Callan was a partner at Marvin Glass and Associates, a prominent toy design and engineering firm known for creating iconic toys such as Lite-Brite and Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. On the day of his death, Callan, along with managing partner Anson Isaacson and designer Kathy Dunn, was shot and killed at the company's offices in Chicago.
