Marshawn Thomas, a 26-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on July 13, 2020, in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, IL. He was standing on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of South Homan Avenue when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 12:24 a.m., and Thomas was found unresponsive at the scene.
