Honora A. Lahmann, a 67-year-old woman from Joliet, Illinois, was tragically murdered on June 25, 1983. Honora, along with her sister Zita Blum, 66, was found shot to death in their home in Joliet Township. The bodies of the two women were subsequently burned inside the house, adding a gruesome element to the crime.
