Benjamin "Benji" Wilson Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, was a highly regarded high school basketball player from Neal F. Simeon Vocational High School in Chicago, Illinois. On November 20, 1984, Wilson was tragically shot in the neighborhood surrounding his school during the lunch hour.
