Kenneth Richard Novak Jr., a 27-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on April 8, 1992, in Lansing, Illinois. Officer Novak was serving with the Lansing Police Department when he was fatally shot while investigating a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of 172nd Street and Oak Avenue.
