Thomas Edward Mennes, a 32-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 8, 1993, in Palatine, Illinois. He was one of the seven victims of the horrific Brown's Chicken massacre, an armed robbery and mass shooting that took place at the Brown's Chicken & Pasta restaurant. The other victims included the owners, Richard and Lynn Ehlenfeldt, and employees Guadalupe Maldonado, Michael Castro, Rico Solis, and Marcus Nellsen.
