Julio Castillo, an 18-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on June 20, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois. Castillo was a passenger in a vehicle that was attacked by a mob during the Chicago Bulls championship riots. The incident occurred at an intersection where several other motorists were also assaulted. Castillo was shot to death during this violent episode, which was part of the larger unrest that followed the Bulls' victory.
