In the late hours of a summer evening in Boston, tragedy struck a young life, leaving a family and a community searching for answers that remain elusive to this day. Dana Jackson, a 20-year-old African-American male, became the victim of a fatal shooting on Saturday, June 25, 2011. The incident took place in the vicinity of Dearborn and Eustis Streets in the Roxbury neighborhood, a community that would be left to grapple with the violent loss.
